Moview Review: The Mechanic (2011)

I watched downloaded version of The Mechanic. Wanted to watch it in the cinema but I guess I had no time. And to save few sum, it's better to watch the downloaded. Clear, safer and comfortable watching in bed. LOL

The main actor Jason Statham is always a great actor. I like watching his movies since the first time I saw him in Death Race. It's awesome.

The Mechanic is not a movie about a mechanic repairing cars and whatsoever. But it's about a man, with few tasks to kill certain people. He may needs to kill a person he knows. At the end of the movie, he is almost being murdered by his own friend, who he trains to be a task-killer too.

I would rate this movie as 4 star over 5. I bet this movie is a nice movie to be watched. It's worth the time I spent to download it. And it's worth the money to pay for my broadband. :P

Movie Review: Drive Angry (2011)

The other day, my boyfriend came over to Kuala Lumpur and we hung out around Kuala Lumpur and spent some time watching movie at Times Square. Had not much of movie choices so we decided to watch Drive Angry since Nicolas Cage is who we admired very much.

I guess everyone will have the same perceptions when it comes to Nicolas Cage. All of his movies are damn great, not until you watch this Drive Angry. Boyfriend fell asleep few times while watching it. I was already restless on the chair because of the slow storyline.

And it was hard for me to understand the story at first, but finally understood what is happening by the end of the movie. The movie is actually about a man (Nicolas Cage) who ran away from hell to take revenge over a man who is practicing black magic. The evil man has killed Cage's daughter in front of him. Another man came out to run after Cage and bring him back to the hell.

The ending has not much fun. I was expecting for great movies like other Nicolas Cage's movies. My rate for this movie will be 2.5 star over 5 star. ;)

Movie Review: Sini Ada Hantu (2011)

It's always weird to listen to people saying about a movie title like this "Sini Ada Hantu". I remember the day I went out with a friend. She actually accompanied me to meet up with my relatives at KLCC. But the relatives did not make it to come. So, we ended up watching "Sini Ada Hantu".

When we were about to purchase the tickets, my friend made a joke to the ticketing seller by saying "Sini Ada Hantu ke kak?" and the saleswoman replied "Takde dek.. Cerita Sini Ada Hantu je ada... Tapi tempat ni takde hantu". I laughed like hell.

Anyways, there is not much fun watching Sini Ada Hantu. It is a story in a story by the storyteller. Sini Ada Hantu comes with three ghosts we usually heard off. Craving for sex? Try Hantu Pokok Pisang. 4D Jackpot? We have Hantu Nombor Ekor. And boarding school? We have Hantu Jepun.

This movie is nothing but funny. It's a total funny and my friend even fell asleep while watching it. That means what? Boring. Well, yeah, my rate will be 2.5 star over 5 star.
