Samsung Galaxy S II: One Thing I Dislike

Been using Samsung Galaxy S II for almost a week now, and one thing I kind of dislike about it, compared to my previous iPhone is that, the battery seems not to last long enough. I remember the first day using SG SII, it last 20 hours with not actively surfing the internet using phone. Second day and ahead, it could only last for 12 hours.

I was told to turn on my Power Saving Mode, and change my network status to GSM. Done that, but I bet, it doesn't change anything since the battery still doesn't last long. I remembered my iPhone could last from 7.30am - 9 pm with no active usage. But my current SG SII, it last only from 11am - 6 pm. I wonder what's happening here.

I changed everything, from display to network. My screen looks dimmed because I intentionally doing that to reduce my battery usage. I switch off my wifi even when at home, to make sure the battery lasts till night.  I seldom play games with my phone unlike what I did to my iPhone. I played games so much with iPhone!

I somehow feel that, I need to have an external battery charger, or travel charged for SG SII. Otherwise, I will suffer for not having enough battery until night during work or class.  Anyway, I'm still satisfied with my SG SII. Love it :)

That's the problem with power hungry Android devices. The 4.3 inches screen of SGS2 sucks out the energy too fast from the battery. My 4.4 inches HTC Desire HD suffers the same problem. But I recently bought a nice travel charger that extends my battery life to 50%. Here's my post about it http://chopsueyrice.blogspot.com/2011/06/energizer-xp1000-battery-solution-for.html
