I just knew that tempoyak (fermented durian) can be cooked with chicken soup. Wow and it tasted fantastically nice!!!! To make the Chicken Soup with Tempoyak is so simple, and I made mine today for dinner. Though it was not taste that good, but for a beginner, I'm proud with it. LOL
Making tempoyak soup with chicken is simple, and all you need is:
Several pieces of chicken
Fermented Durian (Tempoyak)
3 stalks of Lemongrass
Garlic, Onions, Chillies,
Glasses of water (Recommended two glasses of water)
Salt, MSG
All you need to do first is, mince all together the garlic, onions and chillies as you wished accordingly to how many people you're going to serve this. While mincing, pour few glasses of water into a pot, and let it boiled and put in all of those minced ingredients with lemon grasses to the boiled water.
Stir the mixture and slowly, and put in one by one tablespoon of tempoyak, recommended 4 tablespoons of it. Until it tastes as you wished, put a little or a bite of salt and Ajinomoto for a better taste. Lastly, take all the chickens and put into the boiling soup. Let it be until it is very well cooked.
I know, I'm not that expert at cooking this meal, but this was how I made mine. Will try to cook it again, and hopefully it will taste better :)
