Movie Review: Hunger Point

Hunger Point movie was released on the year 2003, but I watched it yesterdays. Watched it once, and I guess, the movie is good enough. Good for all. It a story of daughters being asked not to put on weight until both of them become an anorexia patients. One of them were admitted to the mental hospital to recover her illness towards food. They both became as such because of their mother whom hates to see her daughters become fat. So, even since they both were small, they were not allowed to eat to much, and were strictly asked to take care of their body and be thin.

So, as things occured, one of her daugther died, and the other one is sad over it. While their mother are blaming herself for the death. But at the end, the family went out smooth. I cannot really explain this movie, because I was also crying watching it. And I could not express it how much I like this story. Highly recommended to all of you if you has not watched it. ;)

Pay Nurses As High As Teachers

Well, it's easy... nowadays, every places on earth having the same problem which is the shortage of nurses... Some of nurses migrated to other countries... and some, no nurses at all..
From what I saw in the internet, they are some hospitals in Malaysia have closed even the ICU, few wards and operation theater.. why? No ones to take in-charge of patients there... and not enough nurses to be filled in such wards... so, the only way is, by closing few those wards...

I am not a nurse yet, but I am asked to make an assignment and research regarding this... I should say, few things should be implemented to nurses... As in, the pay... regardless the certificates either it's diploma or degree or even doctoral... but compared Malaysia to other countries like Saudi Arabia, nurses in Saudi Arabia is paid high enough compared to nurses in Malaysia... I guess this is why most Malaysian nurses moved out to Singapore and Saudi Arabia.. see the difference... Nurse in Saudi Arabia is paid for 12000 SAR which is equals to RM10900.19 per month... while in Singapore, nurses are paid for 3500SGD which is equals to RM8532.32... this shows that, nurses in Malaysia are paid low compared to other countries..

Compared to teachers who work for few hours in school, and brings back the work to home, and mostly happened to be so free without work are getting paid so high... while nurses whom work 6-8 hours per day, with shift some more... got pay such low than a teacher... is it fair? I guess it's unfair... Teachers get holiday easily... but nurses have to ask for a holiday... but nurses get paid low compared to those teachers... So, I think it's more than enough to prove that why nurses in Malaysia get interested to work in some other countries....

Then, I think... Malaysia should atleast have one International school of nursing... that specializes in nursing... so that it is easier for our country to recruit our own nursing students... so that Malaysian government does not need to fully support student in private colleges if they had already their own nursing school... it will save loads of money...

Maximize in students intakes... From what I see, nursing course are having the intake only once a year... which I think is not enough to recruit and cover the shortage of nurses... They should at least have five intakes in a year.. so that more nurses will be seen to cover the shortage of nurses...

Else like, nursing promotion is much important too... school leavers should be exposed to nursing so that they will get to know more about nursing career and will gain their interest in nursing... Government should start to promote nursing as shortage of nurses is sort of big problems to all of us...

I think that's enough for me to talk about... Since now, I am a nursing student, I should say, everyone should implement something good instead of building new and new hospitals and clinics to cover the shortage of nurses... Nursing is a profession, and I am not regretting on choosing it to be part of me in path of my life.... ;P

Getting my own Domain

Huh! again... I am telling my readers about intention on getting my own domain soon... since last year, but haven't got any domains yet... and now... I am looking for cheap web hosting and so on to build up my very own domain... AMIEYALEN.COM...

I have to wait for time... and waiting... I am still asking and asking my boyfriend about cheap domain... I don't want the pricey one...*no money*...

So, I would only have my domain when I stumbled upon the cheapest domain on earth... wonder when will it be.. I want a domain!!! I really want it my own AMIEYALEN.COM... Badly want it!

Movie Review: Surrogates

Watched this movie on the day it was released in Kuching... Watched it at MBO... and the movie was suprisingly not as what I expected....

I think all of us would agree that, previous movies by Bruce Willis is much more awesome than this Surrogates movie...

The ending was not that bad... and was not that good though.... but it is recommended to all of you to watch it... but for me, I would love to download this movie, and watch it at home... save more budget for a typical actions packed movie... :)

Movie Review: Tattooist

I watched this movie once... downloaded and watched it at home... and I was not so concentrate watching it...and I think, even I was not that cocentrate, I found out that this movie is quite awesome...

And it turned me to a nightmare after watching it... and I was quite confused with the movie... it's full with romance, and sometimes during the ending, was sort of horror movie... but it is recommended to all of you to watch it... it's a good movie for all... even though it was released on 2007... ;P

Recipe: Laksa Sarawak Making (Part 1 & 2)

If any of you follows me through Facebook, you will see me keep on updating you guys about me making Laksa Sarawak... :P

I've ever made Penang Laksa, and I successfully did it... and my boyfriend said it is nice... even though it is not the best... but for the first time making, it was a success... where it was deliciously and successfully done...

Making Penang Laksa is hard... You have to keep lots of things done... you have to separate the meat of fish with it's bone... then, you will have to blend those bone and meat... and mix it in the boiling water to make the laksa gravy... I could say, it's troublesome to make Penang Laksa... But I tried my best to make it, as my boyfriend keep on talking about it... So, I made it... and it's great! :P

Compared to Sarawak Laksa, Penang Laksa is much troublesome... but it's easy to do... When it comes to Sarawak Laksa, it is totally different and I wonder why... Some people might say, making Sarawak Laksa is easy... because you will only need the paste (where you can just buy it in packet), boil it.... and mix it with prawns or whatever in the bowl... and it's done...

I thought the same... I thought it will be much more easier compared to the making of Penang Laksa... but I was wrong... it's hard... I bought the paste... and done accordingly to instructions given... but hell happened... it's not nice... and caused me to have diarrhea for five days... WTF~~~ That's what happened on my first time Laksa Sarawak making...

On the second time... I changed a bit... I added in few things such as MSG, salt, and other else... and it done a little nicer compared to the first time making... and my boyfriend said so... it was nice... but for me, no Sarawak Laksa could beat iCafe Sarawak Laksa which for me, is the best Sarawak Laksa in town!!! and I want to do the same... even though my boyfriend said it was nice, I will still try to do it again... why? I am not satisfied with my own Sarawak Laksa... :P

Facebook: Airline Manager

I once so mad with my boyfriend because of this game... he is so addicted to it... even when it's about to sleep, he will surely go to the PC and check his game... And I've finally tried it myself...

Guess what? I am now addicted to it... Why? It's a good game... it makes me calm... and think... and it's easy to play... you will only have to buy an aircraft at first, then widen your company with few times of aircraft... Other else like, you have to monitor your fuel level, and you have to buy fuel if your fuel is getting lesser and lesser...

Other else, I'm not sure... I just started... and I haven't explored the entire game yet... but everyone should have a try... It's a good game for all... :)

Michael Jackson's Thriller "This is it"

As every one knows... I may be going to watch this movie soon... when it's already in Kuching's cineplex for all... I wanted to watch this movie since the first day I was informed about this movie... Sounds good... and I really-really want to watch it...

I can't Cope with my Study!

No, I'm not.... Thank God I was in the science streamed before... and I done quite well in all my science subjects... And guess what? I am learning again what I've learned during my form five year... and even form four...

So, now I am back to my form four syllabus... Learning all my biology back in college life... and what? I can't cope with people... They learn so slow... and I was kind of OMG!!!! Yeah, I know... they were not in the science streamed before... and I was, and it's easy for me to learn faster during class...

But I can't make it, when the lecturer has to repeat the same things over and over again... I mean, hmmm... I learned the same thing when I was in form 1... and ended up at form five... and now, I have to face the same thing again... so, I can't wait when they want to be waited...

I need to move on other new syllabus but not the same syllabus as my secondary school years... I need something new before I go on sleeping in the class waiting for the lecture to be done... *sighs*
