Taman Sinar Harapan is not the ray of hope needed by THEM

Taken from The Star Online... and I guess, they should not do this kind of thing... Pity to all of them... even though they're disabled, but we should not treat them like this... If they can't use the clothes just because they will use it to kill themselves, try other else way... so that they will be given clothes to wear, and not being left naked.... and hires more workers to care them... so that, they will be watch 24 hours of their doings... and I think, not even one of them had the chance to kill themselves where there are loads of people watching their doings.... :)

KUALA KUBU BARU: We were hit by the stench of faeces and urine the minute we walked into the men’s block at Taman Sinar Harapan located in a secluded area of the town here.

Mr A, a volunteer from a non-governmental organisation who goes to the home every Sunday to clean and feed the residents, opened the locked door at the back of the block and we were stunned by what greeted us.

About 30 stark naked men were inside the room, either lying down or sitting on the wet marble floor. In one part of the room, we saw a pool of blood, still fresh and red, on the floor.

Half of the men were locked behind bars like animals in a zoo while the others were able to move about in the front portion of the room. Those in the “jail cells” were segregated so that they would not harm their non-violent roommates.

“Those who are accidentally placed inside the cells with the more aggressive residents would be beaten or abused,” the volunteer revealed.

Most of them looked no older than 50 but they were just skin and bones and some looked extremely frail. One resident was lying on his stomach on a wooden bench and had passed motion; we almost gagged at its stench.

Fans were installed inside the room for better ventilation but that was the only luxury the men had. There were no beds, no toilets and not even blankets to keep them warm on cold rainy nights.

Those who were not in the “jail cells” were given beds but without any mattresses or pillows. They were, however, chained to the bed frame with metal chains and a steel lock.

We were told by a volunteer that they were restricted to prevent them from hurting themselves. The volunteer also shared that the men were not given any clothing as they had used their shirts to strangle themselves or the other men in the past.

After a briefing by Mr A, we got down to work. We were put in charge of spreading mats and towels on the floor.

The volunteers were all given different tasks. A group of about six or seven men were in charge of bathing the locked-up residents, the women were in charge of preparing the food and feeding the residents while the rest (there were two children in the volunteer group) were in charge of cleaning up the place and washing their clothes.

The residents were hosed down with water and soap by volunteers dressed in construction boots and a water proof apron.

After that, the male volunteers carried the naked men to the front part of the building for us to towel dry them.

After sensing our discomfort, a female volunteer nearby said: “It’s okay, they’re just like babies, you know, they don’t know anything.”

We proceeded to wipe them dry one by one before we were told to feed them with the yong tau foo bought by one of the volunteers.

The food was mashed to bits and mixed with soup to minimise the need to chew and to make feeding an easier task. so that the residents only needed to swallow them.

As we fed them, some ate obediently while others were greedy and stuffed their hands inside the bowls to take out larger portions of the food.

Some volunteers reprimanded the greedy ones who crawled towards the table to help themselves to more food. We noticed that some of the mentally disabled residents liked to hit themselves repeatedly. When we tried to stop them, they would fight back or just hit their body against the floor.

Mid-way through feeding, some volunteers suddenly rushed over to a young resident whose head was bleeding profusely. We were told that the boy had slipped and fell.

The volunteers immediately dressed him up, put him on a wheelchair and sent him to a hospital nearby.

After mopping the floor, we took a break and noticed that the residents were taken back into their cells to be locked up again.

It was nearly 4pm when everything was done. The residents were all bathed, fed and the place was clean enough.

We asked the volunteers what would happen to the residents on weekdays when the group was not there to offer their help.

The naked truth: Some of the inmates who were caged up in the home.

“The caretakers don’t do much. There are only two of them while there are 50 residents. If it’s time to feed them, they would just walk one round with a bowl and feed whoever wants to eat. Those who don’t are left alone,” answered a volunteer.

She divulged that another charitable organisation had brought food for the residents but it was thrown away. “When the group asked why they did such a thing, the caretakers said that the residents would create a bigger mess if there was more food because they would defecate more often,” she said.

After the voluntary group had left, we stayed back to check out the other blocks.

The women’s wing looked cleaner and did not smell as bad but a handful of the women were seen walking about in the nude.

The two caretakers stationed at the block were seen watching TV and chatting.

We noticed that the women’s clothes were laid out to dry on a dirty floor caked with fungus. We walked over to the children’s block which seemed to be the best kept part of the home. It was decorated and there were proper beds. But the children were curiously quiet.

A volunteer claimed that the children were fed with cough syrup so that they would be sleepy and docile.

Ice Aged 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends... Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte.... Manny and Ellie, having since become an item, are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives.... Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently.....

I watched this movie once, few days back @ Riverside Kuching.... Firstl of all, I would really loves to talk about the new deisgnated of cineplex in Riverside... The waiting hall was considered a bit smaller than before, and they divide it accordingly between the waiting lobby and the hall... and guess what? The toilets were also divided... You will no more can enter when you've no intentions to watch the movie.... You have to geth through the entrance to go to the cinema halls in order to get to the toilets...

and when you're done with the movies, you will have to walk around the place to get out from the cinema... you will find out yourself walking a long "tunnel" to get out from the place.... Loads of changes could be seen there....

From what I was told, they are currenlty changing their management from Metrowealth to Lotus Five Stars management... Even the workers for pop-corn, wearing full unifroms....

oh yeah, Ice Aged 3 was super duper awesome!!!!! I disatisfied watching the movie once... I wanted to watch it again... but will download the movie so that I can watch it over and over again.... Just love the story... I laughed non-stop since the movie started.... even though the hall was seemed to empty, but the movie is great enough for all to watch... don't missed it if you still can go to watch it... I love the movie plotting.... and the jokes they made.... they really made me laughed.... and yeah, I can't wait to watch it again (download ones).... Don't forget to watch it... it's fun!!!!! :)

Public, Private Funeral set for Jacko

Taken from Yahoo!.... and the list of funeral time for Jacko....

Private and public funerals have been set for the late Michael Jackson, according to CNN.

His body will return to his Neverland Ranch for a public viewing on Friday, CNN reports. (Jackson's brothers Jackie, Jermaine and Tito visited the grounds over the weekend and a delivery truck was spotted there Tuesday dropping off boxes.)

A private memorial service is slated for Sunday, according to CNN.

There is still no word on where Jackson will be buried, but his hometown of Gary, Ind., is hoping the family to send him there.

"I believe that his body will lie in state in Gary, Ind.," Gary Mayor Rudy Clay told Chicago radio station WGN Tuesday. "Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will."

Look back at Michael Jackson's life

At the very least, Clay said he hopes Jackson's body will be taken to Gary for a July 10 memorial service at U.S. Steel Works ballpark.

The memorial would be "fit for the prince of peace and a memorial that's fit for Gary, Indiana's favorite son, the greatest entertainer that ever lived."

Gary officials may even propose that that the singer be buried near a proposed Jackson family museum and a performing arts center, Clay's spokeswoman Lalosa Burns said.

"The mayor had spoken with a contact of the Jackson family and expressed our interest in having that to be a part of the history of this great family," Burns said. "We have not received confirmation on that."

On Tuesday, fans gathered for a public tribute to Jackson at Harlem's Apollo Theater, where the singer performed as a child.

Jackson died at age 50 June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest.

Chapter 2: The Lost Chapter

If you noticed this, I've wrote the 1st and 3rd chapter of the same stories... and the chapter 2 is missing... well, it's not missing, it's me whom skipped the chapter 2...

It's been a long time, since my last update about my own life... it's been a long time since I wrote my real feelings here... I know, we should not write about our true life, but yeah... different people writes different things....

I've been neglecting this blog so much... I'd rather copy and paste the story from other sources just to make sure this blog is updated, but with boring matters...Somehow, I realized, people loves to read what ever it's about the personal life... and that's what I am going to write about... but I will not go too far, I have my own limitation to write my personal life...

So, my life has been going the tough times.... My relationship seemed uncertain in some parts, but we managed to continue the "journey"... I've fell down and cried in so many times, but I was asked to stand and be brave for the challenge.... People has been so much loves to see me fall... The victim was not only to me, but my fiance too...

Since last Friday, I started using the Digi postpaid which was actually good for me... I don't need to top-up my phone whenever I'm out of credit... But there was something very bad happened before, and needed me to change my phone plan and it's under my fiance's name....

How would you feel when your happy day turns out to be the worst day of your life? for me, I feel so sad, and I will surely cry out heavily.... and that was happened to me... I went out with my fiance, and we were enjoying ourselves on that day... When the night came, my fiance got the idea to check my phone list... Through online... yeah, don't be surprised.... even though you're using prepaid, you still can check the list of the people you sms-ed and called through online....

So what was he found? He found few numbers, on my sms-ed lists... and found out that I've sms-ed my ex, since the last May.... and yeah, I knew it... He was very mad... he talked to me in a high voice, and shaking tones... He asked and asked... I said it NO.... yeah, true... It was not me... but I knew it, and I understood... He has the hard evidence, and how much I denied, it means nothing... I know, it was not me... I remember, on that certain date he mentioned, my phone was with him.... But yeah, I think no ones will trust me compared to those having the proof....

Just after he found out the list thing, he started to contact my ex... and I felt uneasy with the situations... Plus, my ex mentioned it to him too... He said to my fiance I did messaging him.... oh God!!! Trust me, that was time I felt like falling from the edge of the highest mountain in the world... Why was my ex doing that to me.... I swear to God, I never want and never ever sms-ed or called my ex... and I hate him so much no matter what happens...

Still, my swore means nothing compared to the evidence... I felt lost... I was scolded by my dad and even my brothers about this... They even thought the same... They said, I am a liar... and how dare was me to go that far to lie a person whom cared for me so much... and how shameful was when they thought my ex was still catching me, but actually me were catching him... it's not me!!! How I wish I could scream to their ears saying it was not me...

When the swear-word VS evidence, evidence wins.... my swear-word means nothing... even until now, I knew it... some people are not trusting me... and that, I go on with my life... and make sure the way is right enough for me, just to make sure no ones is taking advantage of my life.... I feel sad over what has happened.... but I am glad I still here to write, and still together with my fiance.... Even though I know, among our happy times, there are worries and feeling not trusting me in him... But never mind... I am doing what I should to build back the trust from him... and I know, it's not my fault... because it was not me whom sms-ed and called my enemy.... and I should not feel guilty.... No matter what people going to say about me... All I can say, I didn't do that.... And to him, I am sorry for all this.... Swear to God, I never did that.....

New details about Jackson's death

Taken from Yahoo!... few details we should know regarding Jackson's death....

LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson still had a faint pulse and his body was warm when his doctor found him in bed and not breathing, a lawyer for the doctor told The Associated Press on Sunday.

Edward Chernoff also said Dr. Conrad Murray never prescribed or gave Jackson the drugs Demerol or OxyContin. He denied reports suggesting Murray gave Jackson drugs that contributed to his death.

Chernoff told the AP that Murray was at the pop icon's rented mansion on Thursday afternoon when he discovered Jackson in bed and not breathing. The doctor immediately began administering CPR, Chernoff said.

"He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn't breathing," the lawyer said. "Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse."

Jackson's family requested a private autopsy in part because of questions about Murray, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said Saturday. Murray also told the family an autopsy should be performed, Chernoff said.

Three days after the death of the King of Pop, celebrities descended on Los Angeles for a spectacular celebration of Jackson's life at the annual BET awards show.

Joe Jackson, Michael's father, walked on the red carpet wearing a black hat, sunglasses and a dark suit. He planned make an onstage appearance, show publicist Bobbi Marcus said.

"I just wish he could be here to celebrate himself," he said. "Sadly, he's not here, so I'm here to celebrate for him."

In a statement read at the show, Jackson's parents said they solely had the personal and legal "authority for our son and his children." It was their strongest declaration yet about their son's affairs.

People close to Michael Jackson have said since his death that they were concerned about his use of painkillers. Los Angeles County medical examiners completed their autopsy Friday and said Jackson had taken unspecified prescription medication.

Chernoff said any drugs the doctor gave Jackson were prescribed in response to a specific complaint from the entertainer.

"Dr. Murray has never prescribed nor administered Demerol to Michael Jackson," Chernoff said. "Not ever. Not that day. ... Not Oxycontin (either) for that matter."

Paramedics were called to the mansion while the doctor was performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), according to a recording of the emergency call.

Because Jackson was so frail, Murray "administered with his hand behind his back to provide the necessary support," Chernoff said. Some have speculated the doctor botched the CPR.

"He's a trained doctor," Chernoff said. "He knows how to administer CPR."

Medics spent three-quarters of an hour trying to revive Jackson. He was pronounced dead later at University of California Los Angeles Medical Center.

Murray was interviewed by investigators for three hours Saturday. His spokeswoman called Murray "a witness to this tragedy," not a suspect in the death, and police described the doctor as cooperative.

The attorney said Murray will wait to speak publicly until after the police and forensics investigation is complete.

"One of his best friends just died, essentially in his arms — yeah he's looking forward to telling his story," Chernoff said.

Chernoff also said the promoter of Jackson's 50-show London concerts, AEG Live, owes the cardiologist $300,000.

"His contract with the promoters states he would receive an amount of money each month to be his (Jackson's) personal physician and they have failed to honor that contract," Chernoff said. "They are two months behind."

Randy Phillips, president and CEO of AEG Live, acknowledged the contract called for Murray to be paid $150,000 a month, but said the contract required Jackson's signature.

"Michael never signed the contract," Phillips said.

He also said the doctor's claim for payment may be against Jackson's estate, not AEG which was merely advancing the money to Jackson.

A private pathologist hired by the Jackson family completed a second, private autopsy Saturday, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing unnamed people familiar with the case.

A second autopsy can allow the family to get some information about a death almost immediately, including signs of heart, brain or lung disease or fresh needle punctures, said Dr. Michael Baden, a medical examiner not involved in the Jackson case.

"Usually if it looks normal with the naked eye, it looks normal under the microscope," said Baden, who recently performed a second autopsy on actor David Carradine.

Los Angeles County coroner's officials said their autopsy found no indication of trauma or foul play. But because of additional tests, an official cause of death could take weeks to determine.

There was no word from the Jackson family on funeral plans. Many of Jackson's relatives have gathered at the family's Encino compound, caring there for Jackson's three children.

Al Sharpton, who arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, said he was heading to the Jackson compound and would talk with the family about how to memorialize the late pop star. Sharpton said they want to hold memorials in key cities around the globe and also planned a memorial service Tuesday at the Apollo Theater in New York.

It also wasn't clear what would become of Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Investor Thomas Barrack previously set up the joint venture with Michael Jackson after the singer nearly lost the ranch to foreclosure.

Barrack feels close to family members and wants to hear their thoughts on how best to honor Jackson's memory, said Owen Blicksilver, a spokesman for Colony Capital LLC, the Los Angeles-based firm where Barrack is chairman and CEO. The investor joined Jackson's brother Jackie, Jermaine and Tito for lunch Saturday at the sprawling Santa Barbara County property.

A White House adviser said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that President Barack Obama had written to the Jackson family to express his condolences.

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen

Went to watch it yesterday @ The Star cineplex....The hall was full, and yeah... lots of people were coming to watch this movie.... I'll be rating this movie 4 and a half over 5 star rates... The movie was fantastically awesome!!!!

"The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye."

The movie was all about saving the earth from being controlled by The Fallen.... A bit sad when Optimus died, but he managed to live again after another Prime gave his Energon to him... and Optimus succesfully saves the world from The Fallen by damaging a machine ( to end up the sun's life) so that they could bring The Fallen to the earth....

The movie was action packed movie... and it's interesting... But bumblebee lost his character even though he is own by the main actor... I thought Bumblebee too will be the main actor for robots.... but what ever it is, the movie is nice... and interesting... Don't missed it!!!! :)

Michael Jackson's died, how about his kids?

Taken from Yahoo! while logging in for my e-mail.... yeah, I was wondering about everything... about Jacko especially... and yeah, my questions being answered one by one... Now, it's about his kids... whom will be taken cared by Jacko's mum.... Read here for more... While writting this, I could felt it the lost of greatest singer whole over the world... Even though he has just died, but his memories will sitll remains.... RIP Jacko.... :)

The death of Michael Jackson at the age of 50 has raised many questions about his health, finances, and legacy. But at the top of many people's list of questions is the fate of his three children: How are they coping, and who will get custody of them?

Debbie Rowe, a nurse who Jackson married in 1996 and divorced in 1999, is the mother of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11; Prince Michael II (also known as Blanket), 7, was reportedly born to a surrogate mother, whose name has never been released.

A former Jackson attorney and family friend, Brian Oxman, toldRadaronline Thursday that Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, is the likeliest candidate to initially look after the children:

"Probably Mrs. Jackson will take care of them, she loves them dearly," Oxman said.... [The children] are currently still in L.A. and with a nanny."

Oxman later told "The Early Show":

"I suspect that the death of Michael Jackson is only the beginning of the legal battles over not only his property, but also his children."

Debbie Rowe could also make a play for Prince Michael and Paris. It is unknown if Jackson designated a guardian for the children in a will, but Rowe could claim that her care is in the best interest of her children, and head to court. E! reports:

If Rowe decides to make a bid for at least the two children she carried, she has quite a case, too....

Although many reports indicate Rowe legally waived her parental rights over the two kids after her divorce from Jackson, that decision actually was reversed by a judge. Eventually Jackson and Rowe reached a specific agreement of their own: Rowe retained parental rights and got a fat check while Jackson retained custody.

The children, who have lived at Neverland Ranch and in Ireland and Bahrain, were most often seen in public with their faces covered by veils or masks. In 2002, Jackson was highly criticized when he dangled Blanket, then an infant, over the balcony of a Berlin hotel to show him to screaming fans below.

The three children, like Michael and his siblings, will be growing up amid a blizzard of media attention. While the Jackson family is often in the spotlight for their tumultuous relationships, this may provide an opportunity for the family to heal past wounds.

Mark Lester, godfather to Jackson's children, told the "Today" show:

"The Jackson family is a very large family, and, you know, in times of need families get together and put aside all the differences."

King of Pop, Micheal Jackson Dies

Taken from The New Straits Times Online... The world King-of-Pop died on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest...May GOD bless his soul... and may his soul rest in peace....

LOS ANGELES, Fri:

Pop icon Michael Jackson died on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest, multiple US media outlets reported, sending shockwaves around the entertainment world. The Los Angeles Times and TMZ.com celebrity news website reported Jackson, 50, died after suffering an arrest just after 12:00 pm (1900 GMT) local time and paramedics were unable to revive him.

The Times cited multiple city and law enforcement officials as confirming the pop icon’s death.

Jackson’s manager Tohme E. Tohme was not immediately available for comment when contacted by AFP. Officials at UCLA Medical Center where Jackson was treated also could not be reached for comment.

National and local television networks showed hundreds of media gathered at UCLA Medical Center for what appeared to be a briefing. CNN was unable to confirm the death, stating that Jackson was in a coma.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Devin Gales did not confirm Jackson’s identity but said paramedics went to an address corresponding to the star’s home at 12:21 pm (1921 GMT) and the person was taken to UCLA Medical Center.
An unidentified family member earlier told TMZ — the first outlet to report that Jackson had suffered a cardiac arrest — that the star was in
“really bad shape.”

Michael’s father Joe Jackson told E! Online he was aware of the emergency but did not know further details.

“I am in Las Vegas, but yes, people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital,” he said. “I am not sure what’s wrong. I am waiting to hear back from them.”

The reports came as Jackson prepared to make a keenly anticipated concert comeback in London, his first series of shows in more than a decade and the first since his 2005 acquittal on child molestation charges.

However those concerts — billed as the “final curtain” — had been thrown into doubt after Jackson pushed back the opening dates last month.

Organizers of the concerts at the time stressed the delay was not linked to Jackson’s health.

In a press conference from the United States broadcast over the Internet, AEG Live president Randy Phillips was asked about Jackson’s health and said: “I would trade my body for his tomorrow. He’s in fantastic shape.”

While Jackson reigned as the “King of Pop” in the 1980s, his once-stellar career had been overshadowed by his colorful public behavior, his startling physical transformation and multiple allegations of child abuse.

Jackson lived as a virtual recluse following his 2005 acquittal on charges, including child molestation and plotting to kidnap his young accuser.

Despite his acquittal, the trial was a body blow from which the pop music superstar struggled to recover.

Four years later, Jackson is still worshipped by fans for revolutionising music, dance and music videos at the peak of his success.

The attention however paid to him in recent years has been less flattering, focusing on apparent cosmetic surgery — which he denies — his baby dangling antics and a decade of swirling child abuse allegations.

Born on August 29, 1958, Jackson made his show business debut with four of his older brothers in the Jackson Five pop group, and went on to lead the stage clan with a piping soprano and dazzling dance moves.

By 1969, the group had signed a contract with Motown Records, becoming one of the last great acts to emerge from the legendary label.

The Jacksons produced seven platinum singles for Motown, selling over a million, and three multi-platinum albums, selling more than two million. They moved to CBS’s Epic Records in 1976.

Despite the early success, Jackson was to recall those years as unhappy and lonely ones. Eventually the family act broke up, as Jackson went solo.

In 1979, Quincy Jones produced Jackson’s first solo album for Epic, “Off the Wall,” a huge disco-oriented success that sold 10 million copies.

They teamed up again in 1982 for what would be Jackson’s breakthrough album as a composer and co-producer, “Thriller,” which became the top-selling album of all time, with sales exceeding 41 million.
